Renewable energy projects
Bester has its own team for the development of renewable energy projects in stable markets with high profitability. It is the business line that generates the most value for the Bester Group – the first link in the value chain.
A team dedicated to the development of renewable energy projects.
We are responsible for prospecting and generating opportunities, as well as obtaining contracts, permits and licenses (environmental, construction permits, connection to the network, etc.) necessary for the legalization and viability of the project.
The development period covers from initiating the project paperwork until the moment when construction can begin (“Ready to build”): finding locations with sufficient resources, land use rights and viable evacuation point. It is essential to obtain all the permits required by the administration, especially in the environmental aspect.
Life cycle of a photovoltaic project
DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
Site selection and legal constitution of the project.
- Knowledge of the legal framework and local policies.
- Constitution of the specific company for each project (SPV).
- Location of technically, administratively, economically and environmentally viable sites.
- Preliminary studies of solar resources and evaluation of energy production.
- Negotiation with landowners and closing of contracts (usufruct, easements, etc.).
- Study of evacuation alternatives and project connection.
- Conceptual engineering.
- Preliminary Due Diligence.
- Global feasibility study of the CAPEX (analysis of the total cost of the installation).
DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
Sale of the SPV.
- Economic and financial feasibility study of development.
We evaluate the lowest value of the license, since by carrying out the Integral Service through the Bester Group, the joint value of Development + EPC + O&M will benefit the INVESTOR. - Customer search and acquisition.
BESPOKE DEVELOPMENT (tailor-made project). - Advice on planning and valuation of power purchase agreements (PPA) and interconnection agreements.
DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
Elaboration of basic project with required permits.
- Legalization and obtaining of permits, licenses and authorizations: connection point, generation license, environmental and social license, municipal permits.
- Management, supervision, and evaluation of EPC and O&M contracts.
- Management, supervision, and evaluation of main equipment supply agreements.
- Technical Due Diligence.
- Topographic and geotechnical studies.
- Basic and detailed engineering of the project.
- Engineering of evacuation infrastructures (substations and electrical lines).
CONSTRUCTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
Construction of the project.
- Construction of the project.
- Quality assurance programs.
- Start-up of the project.
- CAP and CAD acceptance tests (Provisional/Definitive Acceptance Certificate).
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
Project Operation and Maintenance.
- Analysis and reports of the photovoltaic plant.
- Management of incidents related to insurance or security in the plant.
- On-site assistance (module cleaning, vegetation treatment, etc.).
- Monitoring and control.
- Assistance in locating and solving problems in the monitoring system.
- Preventive, predictive and, corrective maintenance.

Shall we begin?
Investing in photovoltaic solar energy is safe and profitable, it has become a highly valued option for investors worldwide. Solar energy attracts more than 17% of global investments in the energy sector, a growing trend in the coming years.
We can all commit to clean energy: large corporations, SMEs, from any organization to small energy consumers.
