In March, 4 photovoltaic plants were connected, for a total of 40MWp.

The 4 turn-key photovoltaic plants built by the EPC company Bester Generación has already begun to inject energy into the grid.

March 31st was key in the calendar of events because the ROC incentives went from 1.4 to 1.3 and the plant size is limited to 5MWp. In this manner, Bester Generación has been able to conncet the 4 plants on time, just as it did with the plant package contracted previously, obtaining 1.6 ROCs for the same.

The 40MW will produce approximately 38,000 MWh/year of electricity, generating power for 11,500 standard British households.

These photovoltaic plants occupy a total area of approximately 65 hectares and will yearly reduce emissions by about 19,000 tCO 2eqeq, which is equivelent to removing more than 17,000 cars off the road.

The plants are distributed throughout England, and with other constructed PV plants, they add to a total capacity of 100 MWp installed.

Bester Generación has relied on local companies, with a staff that has exceeded 300 people in different plants.

Bester Generación Director of Engineering, Miguel Antonio Jiménez, announced that “our clients have given merit to these projects. Our challenge is to strengthen our slogan MEET OUR COMMITMENTS, thus reaping new successes.”
