Bester, with Aros Solar Technology, has installed solar panels in the roof of the store Ikea located in Alcorcón, Madrid.

The Sevillian company Bester that has a management team with more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, opened in 2016 this new line of business of Self consumption in Spain, after having executed numerous photovoltaic installations abroad, in different countries of the European Union, and some of them used for energy self-consumption.

Aros Solar Technology Spain, manufacturer of solar inverters to grid and hybrid systems of powers between 1.5 kW up to 3.2 MW and subsidiary of Riello Electtronica, acted as EPC Contractor in this project, and hired Bester for the project execution and its legalization.

IKEA continues to promote clean energy, and now the turn of Madrid with this store located in Alcorcón, a plant with a total capacity of 100 kW, which will cover part of the demand for this big Scandinavian furniture and decoration store. The Swedish company already has others systems of self-consumption in some of their stores and centers of distribution located in the Iberian Peninsula.

“Our goal is to promote facilities for self-consumption, despite the Sun ‘tax'”, says Javier Dóyega, responsible of self-consumption business line in Bester. “And we are sure that the number of systems of self-consumption in Spain will grow if the Decree 900 / 2015 on self-consumption electric is changed, we should expect this to be so”.
