An official business delegation, led by three Ministers, arrives in Tehran.
A large Spanish delegation, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel García-Margallo; the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria; and Development, Ana Pastor; and in which over 40 companies are integrated, have traveled to Iran to explore new business opportunities for Spanish companies in the Islamic Republic after the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program signed last July 14, ending the blocking and allowing gradually withdraw from economic sanctions next year.
Bester has joined the official delegation to participate in the business meeting with more than 400 Iranian companies, which will take place at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in Iran, to analyze the opportunities of business and investment in the area.
A month ago Bester was present in Iran and signed an agreement with Sunir, the Iranian Company for Energy and Water Export Equipment and Services, to develop international renewable energy projects of any technology.
Iran is the second largest economy in the Middle East after Saudi Arabia, with a market of 80 million people, with a good average income and a high level of preparation, besides having the third largest oil reserve in the world and the fifth of natural gas.
